Drum and
Feather Farm
Mares & Foals
The Mare...Guardian of Souls
The Ladies of Drum and
Feather Farm
These mares
have all been chosen for their lovely dispositions and for
characteristics that are exemplary of the Gypsy Cob and Drum Horse. They
are all good individuals, in their own rights, and should produce
outstanding Gypsy Cob, Drum Horse and Sport Horse foals.
We are expecting 7 foals in 2006. These will all
be beautiful athletic foals. If you think you might be interested in a
superb Gypsy Cob or Drum Horse foal, contact us early. Reference photos
of the sires are at the bottom of the page.

She's home!! Donna,
our lovely Shire x Clydesdale mare has returned to Drum and
Feather Farm. Donna is the thief of hearts, for sure, and the farm has
seemed a little lonelier ever since she left, so when we were offered
the opportunity to buy her back, we jumped at the chance. Thank
you Tanya for taking such good care of Donna and for allowing us the
opportunity to bring her home.

To compliment the traditional colors of our
Gypsy Cobs, we've also added some exotic colors to the breeding
stock of Magickal Farm
and Drum and Feather Farm. |

The partnership of Magickal
Farm and Drum and Feather Farm are happy to present this own
daughter of Toy Boy. We had been searching a long time for a
quality mare or filly that was black all the way to the ground
and we were delighted to finally find this beauty! This filly will make
a wonderful addition to the growing band of exceptional mares. |

Celine D. (aka Baby C) It's well
known, by now, how much we like the lovely black ones.
Well, this new yearling filly may not be black all the way to
the ground (the way we prefer them), but she's pretty close. And
how could we pass up something this gorgeous? We just love
her!! |

DF Love Potion (aka Lolly) - Lolly is our homebred Drum
Horse Filly that we simply couldn't part with. Lolly is
sired by our very own Spellcaster and is out of Ali, making her
a half sister to the Stunning DF Chalk Talk, owned by Mariah
Farms. Lolly is not only beautiful, she has proven breeding
behind her. Lolly will be started under saddle in the fall
of 2007 and make her public debut in 2008. We think she's
a wonderful example of the foundation breeding of Drum Horses. |
|

Michoko is sired by our stallion Spellcaster and out of a
Ster Friesian mare - co-owned by Drum and Feather Farm and Magickal Farm
News Flash: Michoko is in training and doing wonderfully
well. Watch for her show debut in 2007. We have 2 additional
fillies of this same magical cross to add to our Drum Horse
program. Again, one is out of a Ster Preferant mare by a Gypsy Cob
stallion and the other is by a Dutch approved Friesian stallion
and out of a Gypsy Cob mare.
NOTE: As excited as we are
about the Friesian influence on the Drum Horse and as beautiful
as the F1 crosses are, it's actually the next generation, when
these F1 mares are bred back to larger Gypsy Cobs and Drum
Horses, that has us really excited. We can hardly wait for those
foals to start arriving! |

LaTourrette - LT is a
reg. Anglo Trakhener mare standing 16.1. She has a lovely, sweet
disposition and is a real beauty. LT is by the German horse, Insterruf
who was sired by Schwalbenflug (by Impuls and out of Schwaze Schalbe
2822)
LT is now 23 years old and retired but she will stay here on the farm
with us for the rest of her life and be doted on for the lovely mare
that she is.
